Research Interests

My research interests include geographic information systems with specific focus on geostatistics. Currently, I am assisting the development of a method for detection and correction of non-natural irregularities in climate time series. This method will be based in a geostatistical stochastic technique named direct sequential simulation. The method will be developed into a software package and will be called GSIMCLI software. This work has been undertaken with Ana Cristina Costa, Roberto Henriques and Júlio Caineta.
