Data Science Challenge
In today’s world virtually everything we do generates data. Such data may (and should) be used by firms and public organizations to help them take all kinds of virtual decisions.
- Do you know that whenever you stop watching a series or a film on Netflix you are helping this platform to create better and better series or films?
- Have you noticed that Spotify can often guess the music pieces you love, even before you get to know them?
- Did you know that a US supermarket chain found out that a woman was pregnant before she learned it?
If you didn't know all the answers, NOVA IMS gave you, in one morning, the answers to these and other questions. They presented practical examples and held a challenge with prizes awarded to the first and second-place winners!
Come and have a small glimpse of everything you can do with data in order to have a successful career!

- Secondary Education Students who wish to obtain knowledge about Data Science and Technology.

- The Data Science Challenge took place on June 3rd, 2023. It lasted for a morning, from 9:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m..
