European Commission continues funding international Master program in Geospatial Technologies

On March 30th, 2022, the Master Program in Geospatial Technologies of NOVA IMS, selected by the Erasmus Mundus Program of the European Commission as one of the best Master programs in Europe, received a new funding from the European Union for a 5-year cycle.

The consortium formed by the NOVA Information Management School, Institute for Geoinformatics of the University of Münster (WWU) and the University Jaume I (UJI), has once again received proof of recognition in the funding aspect.

The international program, lectured in English, has already attracted more than 250 students from more than 50 countries, from different origins such as Ethiopia, Brazil, USA, China, Colombia, Timor-Leste or Jamaica.

The evaluators selected this master program for funding of about 3.9 million euros, which will be used to fund 84 scholarship holders from all over the world.
