Biography

Teodóra Szabó-Douat is an assistant professor at NOVA IMS. She received her Ph.D. in Business from Baruch College at The City University of New York. Teodóra has papers published in high-quality international journals, such as the Journal of the Association for Consumer Research, Marketing Theory, and the Journal of Service Theory and Practice. Her main research interests are consumer ownership and sharing - including sharing of possessions, information, and responsibility - , consumer well-being, and cross-cultural research. Teodóra received the prestigious ACR-Sheth Foundation Dissertation Award (Honorable Mention) in 2018, and she was an AMA-Sheth Doctoral Consortium Fellow in 2019.
