Summer Course: Experimental Design - From Consumer Neuroscience to Business Insights

experimental-design-from-consumer-neuroscience-to-business-insights

The Summer Course in experimental design will be held from July 8th to 12th, 2019 (from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m.).

This course aims to provide students how to design, conduct, and analyze experiments in any field of knowledge. This course also gives the students the opportunity to develop and conduct their own experimental studies. The students will also learn how to conduct top quality business experiments (A/B testing, online experiments), using experimental tools: why some A/B tests work and other do not? Are we testing what we want to test? Are the effects really working for our brand?

The applications will be supported by cutting-edge neuroscience equipment at NOVA Marketing Analytics Lab: eye tracking, galvanic skin response, and electroencephalogram (EEG). It is designed for non-experts in experimental design and it will be focused on the understanding of experimental methodologies and their application as a business tool.

The main goal of this course is to provide professionals, researchers and Master or Doctorate students with the experimental design tools necessary for business practice and advanced research.

This course will be taught in English.
