Biography

Fátima Trindade Neves holds a degree in Geographical Engineering from the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Lisbon and a Diploma in Advanced Studies in Information Systems and Decision by the NOVA-Information Management School of the Nova University of Lisbon, where she is a doctoral student. She was Head of Division of Informatics in the General Direction of School Administration, having led national and international projects in the field of Education, promoting the digital transformation and the statistical support in business intelligence. She was a Visiting Professor in the 1st Edition of the Smart Cities Postgraduate Course at NOVA-Information Management School at the Universidade Nova de Lisboa. She was Chief of Division of Smart Cities in the Cascais City Hall, where he implemented initiatives and strategies of action in the Municipality so that Cascais was managed as an intelligent territory for its citizens and companies. For more than fifteen years, she was Information Technology consultant in Banking in the areas of Business Intelligence and Customer Relationship Management.

Research interests: Open Data, Smart Cities, Knowledge Management, Business Intelligence, Very Large Databases and Cloud Computing.
