Biografia

Maria Teresa Pinheiro de Melo Borges Tiago é doutorada em Ciências Económicas e Empresariais, com Agregação em Marketing de Serviços pela Universidade dos Açores. A principal área de investigação é o marketing digital, em particular no domínio do turismo através da utilização de metodologias híbridas. É autora de mais de setenta artigos científicos com revisão por pares, incluindo dois livros, 6 capítulos de livros, artigos em revistas científicas internacionais e atas de conferências. Lecionou mais de uma dezena de UCs na área do Marketing e do Turismo. Participou em diversos projetos de I&D nacionais e internacionais, e coordena os projetos "SMART Tourism" e "TASTE" financiados pelo FEDER (85%) e fundos regionais (15%) via ‘Programa Operacional Açores 2020'.
