DWPS 2025 Marco Martins

Marco Martins, 20, is a final-year undergraduate student in Information Management at NOVA IMS. Originally from Caldas da Rainha, he completed his secondary education in Socioeconomic Sciences.

Driven by a passion for educational policy and student advocacy, Marco has shaped his academic path through leadership. He currently serves as President of the NOVA IMS Student Association, where he champions student representation and works to enrich the academic experience. A former federated futsal player, Marco brings the same teamwork and dedication to his role, embodying the student union’s motto: “By students, for students.”

Over the past year, he was selected as a student ambassador for one of the Big Four consulting firms, gaining valuable insights into the job market and actively contributing to the connection between industry and academia.

Marco’s main interests include educational innovation, data analytics, and digital transformation – fields where he aims to make a meaningful impact by using technology to drive societal progress.
