The Students’ Support Office (SSO) is an independent structure that works with the NOVA IMS Management and the Degree’s Coordinators, in order to strenghten the relationship between the NOVA IMS and its Students.

This office zeals for the students interests, ensuring that their problems, needs, claims, suggestions and opinions are heard and have the needed follow-up inside the NOVA IMS structure.
All the problems and commentaries, from the smallest to the significant ones, are in the sphere of activity of this office.
The students can also head to this office to clarify some questions and to obtain useful information that may be useful to their academic life in NOVA IMS.
The SSO's mission is to preserve the trust and satisfaction of students, ensuring the protection and promotion of their rights and guarantees, and finding appropriate solutions quickly and effectively to the problems that may occur.
As part of its functions, the Students Support Office evaluates suggestions, ideas, information requests and complaints, monitoring the respective resolution to the competent authorities. The SSO may propose the adoption of measures, solutions and procedures that contribute to improving the quality of the service and the level of students’satisfaction.
The Students’ Support Office has Sara Ribeiro, as the liaison with the NOVA IMS Community.
Sara can also be reached by e-mail and will periodically contact the students, pro-actively, to facilitate the detection of situations that require attention and solve them in real time.
