The NOVA IMS Alumni Association's mission is to collaborate in the growth of NOVA IMS. The pursuit of the mission is based on 3 major strategic pillars: networking, mentoring and talks.

Strategic Pillars
Identifying, knowing and maintaining relationships with our former students are critical and fundamental tasks in the first pillar. Identifying in which countries and activity sectors they work, and what functions they occupy are priority tasks of the members of the different social organs of the Alumni, either intensively through social networks or personal contacts.
The second pillar is our contribution through our accumulated experience and the roles we play in the development of the different dimensions of NOVA IMS students, especially our undergraduate students.
Finally, the third pillar aims at improving eclectic knowledge, technical and professional skills through lifelong encounters, courses, and conferences in different areas of knowledge. We believe that these are the pillars that allow us to contribute to the development and prestige of NOVA IMS through the personal and professional relevance of our former students.

With a Master’s degree in Organizational Psychology and a Post-Graduate course in Digital Enterprise Management at NOVA IMS Information Management School, Paulo Leitão started his professional career in 2014 specializing in Organizational Consulting, focusing on Talent Acquisition & Development topics.
Cláudia works as a Data Analyst at OutSystems for the Engineering department, providing insights for better decision making and an analytics driven product roadmap.
Cláudia holds a degree in Information Management and a Master’s in the same field with a specialisation in Business Intelligence from NOVA IMS Information Management School.
António holds degrees in Information Systems and Technology and a master's in Information Management, with a specialization in Business Intelligence at NOVA IMS Information Management School.
During his career he has been working on Business Intelligence projects, having worked at companies such as HP, Deloitte, DXC Technology, BI4ALL, and currently, he's a Senior Data Engineer at Tripadvisor.
Rodrigo is a Data Technology Manager at Jerónimo Martins. Rodrigo holds a degree in Information Management and is currently finishing a masters degree in the same course at NOVA IMS Information Management School.
His experience allowed him to develop impactful data engineering and analytics projects in the last 5 years, both working with on-prem and cloud infrastructure.
Jorge Abreu works as a Data Scientist for Grupo Ageas Portugal.
He has a masters degree in Data Science and Advanced Analytics, allowing him to develop impactful analytical projects in the insurance sector 5+ years.
Jorge is an extremely curious person and is always looking for new knowledge sharing experiences!
Nadine Côrte-Real is Head of Advanced Analytics and Artificial Intelligence in Banco de Portugal.
She holds a Ph.D in Information Management and she is an invited Professor at NOVA IMS, coordinator of the Big Data Analytics for Business course and executive trainings related with data governance and responsible AI.
Ricardo Isaías Serafim is the Head of Innovation projects and Controlling at Lidl Portugal.
PMP certified, he started his career in IT. With an MBA, a Masters in Management and a Postgraduate Progam in Business Intelligence, he has a great experience in management and projects.

Vision and Mission
The Alumni Association has as its vision to honor former and current students of NOVA IMS. The mission is to collaborate in the growth of NOVA IMS based on three strategic pillars: Networking, Knowledge Sharing, and Mentoring.
Objectives
- To encourage the interconnection and participation of current and former students in the life of NOVA IMS;
- To contribute to the development of the prestige and reputation of NOVA IMS;
- To collaborate in the initiatives of insertion of current and former students in the labor market ;
- To develop the improvement of knowledge and technical and professional skills throughout life through meetings, courses, and conferences;
- To support actions to attract future candidates to become students of NOVA IMS.
Managing Board
The governing bodies of NOVA IMS Alumni were elected on February 2nd, 2023, in the General Constituent Assembly, for a term of four years. The ALUMNI NOVA IMS is registered under the name "Alumni - Association of Former Students of Nova Information School", and was created on September 21, 2018 and has the NIPC with no. 515085502.

What does it mean to be a NOVA IMS ALUMNI ambassador?
Being an Ambassador is being a volunteer who wants to:
- Be part of the Alumni community;
- Offer their availability voluntarily;
- Share their knowledge and experience;
- Grow the networking community;
- Actively contribute with ideas, events, and projects;
- Bring learning experiences;
- Strengthen the Alumni community by inviting former students;
- Reinforce the ties between NOVA IMS and its alumni.
Who can be an ambassador?
All students and graduates from NOVA IMS who have completed at least one enrollment in:
- Bachelor's degree;
- Post-Graduation;
- Master's degree;
- Doctoral degree;
- Executive Education.
