On May 29 and 30, 2025, Lisbon will host the 21st edition of the International Conference on Pensions, Insurance and Savings, taking place at NOVA IMS and the Academy of Sciences. This international conference will bring together researchers from various fields to discuss the challenges and innovations related to demographic changes, population ageing, sustainable development, and finance.

The conference will be held at NOVA IMS on May 29 and on the morning of May 30. In the afternoon of May 30, the sessions will take place at the Academy of Sciences.

Over the course of two days, the conference will explore topics such as the application of artificial intelligence in social protection systems, the impact of digitalisation on the labour market, the future of healthy ageing, environmental sustainability, the evolution of financial technologies in pensions and insurance, and new models for financing long-term care.
