A study by Professor Bruno Damásio of NOVA IMS for the BRP Association concludes that large companies generate ten times more gross value added than medium-sized ones, are 3.7 times more productive, and pay salaries that are 30% higher.

This shows that encouraging the scaling of companies, without prejudice against larger economic groups, is beneficial.
