Detalhe da Notícia
NOVA Information Management School (NOVA IMS) has once again been recognized as a Celonis Academic Center of Excellence for the 2025–26 academic year, reaffirming its position among the top 13 institutions worldwide in Process Mining education and research. It remains the only Portuguese school to hold this distinction, and one of just two universities globally to have received it consecutively since the program began in 2021.
The recognition is awarded by the Celonis Academic Alliance, which highlights universities with significant global impact in Process Mining. The evaluation considers factors such as the integration of Celonis technology in degree programs, the number of certified students, collaboration between academia and industry, and the relevance of the research conducted.
According to the official Celonis report, NOVA IMS leads the relationship between academia and industry in the Iberian Peninsula in this field, training hundreds of students each year in applied Process Intelligence. To date, more than 700 NOVA IMS students have received training in Process Mining, 350 have earned official certification, and 20 students are currently developing research projects in collaboration with institutions and companies worldwide.
This recognition reinforces the mission of NOVA IMS to train professionals who can operate in a global and competitive environment, combining innovative research in information management with a practical and application-oriented learning approach. It also strengthens the School’s role as an international reference in Data Science and Process Intelligence.
