Mission

NOVA Cidade is a network of people and organizations, dynamized by NOVA IMS - Information Management School, representing the various agents and interests that constitute and lead the construction of intelligent cities, that collaboratively develops a set of activities aimed at promoting the creation and transfer of applied knowledge in the context of urban intelligence.

Objectives

Embrace the challenge of smart cities as a model capable of creating a favorable environment for more effective and efficient governance, taking advantage of the city as a platform and data science to change the paradigm of planning and management of urban spaces;
Promote a more active participation of citizens, based on the use of information and communication technologies and taking advantage of advanced analytical capabilities;
