We are very proud to congratulate Doctor João Pedro Martins Ribeiro da Fonseca, who defended his Ph.D. in Information Management, today, October 12^th 2023. The jury unanimously decided to grant him the degree of Doctor in Information Management and, unanimously, awarded him the final classification Approve with Distinction and Honor. The thesis was on the subject: “The Role of Synthetic Data in Improving Supervised Learning Methods – The Case of Land Use/Land Cover Classification”.
