Cláudia Joaquim

Cláudia Joaquim holds a degree in Economics from the Institute of Economics and Management (ISEG), a postgraduate degree in Accounting, Public Finance and Budget Management from IDEFE/ISEG, and a Master's degree in Public Policies from ISCTE-IUL. She has been a member of the staff of the Social Security Institute since 2001.

She is the President of the Board of Directors of AD&C - Agency for Development and Cohesion.

Previously, she has held the following positions:

• Board member of Santa Casa da Misericórdia de Lisboa;
• Parliamentary Advisor;
• Deputy Director-General of the Strategy and Planning Office (GEP) of the Ministry of Solidarity and Social Security;
• Assistant in the Office of the Secretary of State for Social Security.

She was Secretary of State for Budget in the XXII Constitutional Government and Secretary of State for Social Security in the XXI Constitutional Government.
