The Python Open Class was held on May 4^th from 6:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. and covered the following topics:

• Introduction to Python programming
• Basic syntax and data types
• Control flow and loops
• Functions and modules
• Pandas and Numpy introduction

Hugo Veiga is a Data Scientist with 10 years of experience in the fields of Business Intelligence, Risk Management and Data Science. With a wide experience across multiple sectors, Hugo is one of the most seasoned Data Scientists in Portugal with experience in both startups and the corporate world, having worked for several companies such as KPMG, Outsystems, James (sold to Google) and Zharta, where he applied AI to many diferent problems, from credit risk predictive modeling, to software automation and Blockchain use cases.
