A study by the Portuguese Order of Psychologists estimates a 65% increase in losses due to stress, anxiety, depression, and burnout. Companies lose €5.3 billion due to workers' mental health problems. In the OPP report, losses for companies were calculated based on the average monthly salary of workers, as well as data from INE, PORDATA, and the NOVA Information Management School.
