Paulo Vale is the Executive Director of the European Digital Innovation Hub AI4PA Portugal EDIH (Artificial Intelligence & Data Science for Public Administration). He holds a degree in IT and Business Management and a Master in Information Systems. Throughout recent years, he has served diverse roles at the Administrative Modernization Agency, focusing on project management, strategy, innovation, and international relations. During this time, he has managed and developed multiple projects within national programs like Simplex and across Europe as part of the CEF Telecom initiative. He led the Digital Government Programs and Policies Team, providing support to the ICT Council in designing and developing the Digital Transformation Strategy for Public Administration in Portugal. Additionally, he has served as the national representative in several working groups shaping policy at the European Union level.
