Pedro Batista is a Data Scientist at the Court of Auditors of Portugal and a Visiting Professor at NOVA IMS, where he teaches courses in areas such as Business Intelligence, Data Warehousing, Databases, and SQL. Previously, he served as IT and Data Science Coordinator at the Public Finance Council, responsible for general IT services and leading a Data Science team on Digital Transformation projects. He was also the Director of IT at SPMS, overseeing various areas of software development, including Advanced Analytics, Resource Management, Operations, Infrastructure, Cybersecurity, Internal Systems, and Helpdesk. With over 20 years of experience, Pedro Batista has specialized in data analysis, solution development, and IT governance. He holds a bachelor's degree in Business Administration and a master's degree in Information Management, focusing on business intelligence.
