Biography

Joana Barbosa started her professional career in 2013 in the Marketing department at Unilever Jerónimo Martins. In order to deepen her knowledge of performance marketing, she then moved to the ActualSales group, specializing in Lead Generation. Joana joined the Havas Media Group sometime afterward, where she was responsible for a diverse group of e-commerce clients, both nationally and in Iberia. In 2017, she joined Wavemaker, a WPP group agency, helping build the performance marketing strategy across her client base. Later, her career took her to the performance marketing team at Indie Campers, one of Portugal's most innovative start-ups, with a significant investment in paid media acquisition. Joana then returned to the Havas group to manage the Programmatic Buying department. A year later, she also joined the Paid Social and Performance Marketing teams - across the entire group. Joana is currently part of the Deloitte Digital Solutions team, developing digital consultancy projects for a diverse portfolio of clients.
