Sara Simões Dias has a degree in Probability and Statistics, a Master’s, and a PhD in Statistics and Information Management from NOVA University Lisbon. She teaches Biostatistics, Applied Health Statistics, and Epidemiology to different health professionals (doctors, nurses, physiotherapists, nutritionists, among others) at the Escola Superior de Saúde do Politécnico de Leiria. Sara is part of the ciTechCare research team at the Polytechnic of Leiria, where she has developed various projects. Her main areas of interest are biostatistics, epidemiology, cohort studies, health literacy, and lifestyles. She has published both nationally and internationally.
