Luís Miguel Correia Alves is a Data Scientist at Associação CoLAB Trials and holds a Master’s in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico. His research focuses on Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. He has taught Computer Architecture and Digital Systems courses and authored the master’s thesis "Answer Rephrasing and Emotion Tracking in a Multilingual Customer Service Chat." Currently, he is involved in developing a Generative AI-powered chatbot to support professionals in understanding the European Medical Devices Regulation (EU MDR). Previously, he worked as a Data Analyst, developing data-driven solutions.
