Joana R. Pereira is the Executive Director of the Blockchain Lab at Nova IMS. Joana holds a PhD in Management of Technology from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Lausanne and was a professor at Leeds University Business School in the United Kingdom. Her primary research area is in Blockchain and Web3 strategy. Joana is the author of several scientific articles published in international journals, including IEEE and Technological Forecasting & Social Change, among others.
