With more than 20 years of experience in technology, Manuel Dias began his career at EFACEC in research and development, then joined OutSystems, where he led Product Management. In 2010, he joined Microsoft as a Data and AI Specialist responsible for the enterprise market. He currently holds the position of Director of Enterprise Technical Sales, which he combines with the role of AI Ambassador for Microsoft Portugal. Since 2015, Manuel has also been a Guest Professor at NOVA IMS in the Data Science and Advanced Analytics Master's Degree, among other programs. In 2018, he co-founded and is currently Vice-President of the Portuguese Data Science Association (DSPA). In 2019, he founded the Power BI Portugal community with the aim of democratizing information analysis capabilities. Manuel has an Electrical and Computer Engineering degree from the Instituto Superior Técnico and a Master's in Information Systems Management from the Instituto Superior de Gestão e Economia.
