The program in Intelligence Management and Security creates skills to understand and respond in an objective and informed way to the challenges posed to the different institutions in the framework of the current system of security, defense, international cooperation and information culture in the global world. The course provides analytical skills of different types and presents methodologies to assess, manage and make decisions in complex international security and defence contexts, which require an understanding of the regional political, diplomatic, economic and social framework, namely those arising from the risks and new challenges brought by cybersecurity, counterintelligence, Artificial Intelligence, foresight and scenario building.
The Program gives access to the Geospatial Intelligence Certificate (GEOINT), accredited by the United States Geospatial Intelligence Foundation (USGIF). This certificate implies the attendance of additional curricular units.
