NOVA IMS leading the way in shaping the classroom of the future

Detalhe da Notícia

At the heart of the research for the classroom of the future is a study led by Guilherme Victorino, professor at NOVA IMS and coordinator of the Innovation & Analytics Lab. This study drew inspiration from the SALIENT Behavioral Science framework, which prompts a profound exploration into the impact of dimensions such as Sound, Air, Light, Image, Ergonomics, Nature, and Tone on the learning process. Teachers, students, alumni, staff, and industry partners contributed with their insights, highlighting future trends, empathetic experiences within traditional learning spaces, ideal standards for learning environments, and even delving into the imagination of parallel worlds beyond education that could serve as inspiration. This collaborative process generated 50 contributions, revealing innovative education models, including AI applications, the integration of green and social spaces in classroom design, and the incorporation of Virtual Reality into teaching practices.
