2022 December in review
I wish to all of you and your families a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
Dear members of NOVA IMS community,
The end of another year is getting closer, but this one was marked by the establishment of a new motto - “Data with purpose” - with the ambition to take the creation of value with data further and play a relevant role in responding to the great societal challenges we face.
We have been taking significant steps to build, together, a NOVA IMS that is more intelligent, sustainable and social. A school capable of taking advantage of information management and data science to be efficient in the use of resources and in the optimization of products and services it offers, increasingly adopting the best practices in terms of sustainability and ensuring its community an environment that favors social interaction and promotes well-being and quality of life.
This is a path that we have already started and that in 2023 will have important developments, counting on the entire NOVA IMS community to make it happen, as we are the school we built.

Graduation Ceremony 2022
On December 6th, we had our Graduation Ceremony for the presentation of awards and diplomas for the 2021/2022 academic year!
After two years without having our Graduation Ceremonies, this was the most special one! It was different from the other years, with a glimpse of sparkles and party and with a huge victory of our football National Team!
During the Graduation Ceremony we had the pleasure to count with the participation of the Minister of Territorial Cohesion, Ana Abrunhosa, the Professor João Sàágua, Rector of the Nova University of Lisbon, the Dean of NOVA IMS, Professor Miguel de Castro Neto, the Vice-President of the NOVA IMS Alumni, Ivo Bernardo and the President of the NOVA IMS Students Association, Constança Rodrigues.
