Erasmus Mundus
NOVA IMS, IFGI and UJI

The Master of Science in Geospatial Technologies (Erasmus Mundus Program) is a cooperation between NOVA IMS, in Portugal, the Institute for Geoinformatics (IFGI) of the University of Münster (WWU), in Germany, and the Universitat Jaume I (UJI), in Spain.
It is aimed at graduates wishing to obtain qualifications in fields where geographic information is applied and intend to have a multicultural experience.

This Master Degree Program has been selected by the Erasmus Mundus Program of the European Commission as one of the most excellent Master Programs in Europe.

The program lasts three semesters (90 ECTS). For the path starting at NOVA IMS, the course units of the first semester are:

  2. GIS Applications
  3. Remote Sensing
  1. Portuguese
  2. Geostatistics
  3. Geospatial Data Mining
  1. Group Project Seminar
  2. Database Management Systems
  3. Geographic Information Systems

    The classes (1st and 2nd semesters of the program) will start in September 2017, ending in July 2018, 2 to 3 times a week.

  3. Tuition Fees

    The tuition fee of this master degree program is €1.500 per semester for students from EU Member States, and €3.500 for students from non-European countries. Students can also apply to scholarships. For more information, click here.
