The R Open Class was an educational event that provided participants with the opportunity to learn and enhance their skills in statistical programming using the R programming language.

The R Class covered the following topics:

Reading and Exploring Data;
Visualizing Data using GGPLOT2;
Training a Machine Learning model Using R.

The session was exclusively on-site.

Ivo Bernardo

President of NOVA IMS' Alumni Association and Partner of DareData Engineering

Ivo Bernardo is a professional with a passion for Data Science and Analytics and is currently a Partner at DareData Engineering, a startup that implements machine learning systems all around world for companies of different sizes (from startups to large enterprises). He holds a master Degree in Statistics and Business Intelligence from New University of Lisbon and has been an instructor in several data science academies throughout the years. His main teaching passion is helping beginners or professionals from other industries taking their first leap into the Data Science and Analytics space. Technically he has worked with Python, R, SQL and main cloud providers infrastructure.
