September marked the beginning of a new academic year and also a new motto for NOVA IMS - “Data with Purpose”. Our ambition for the next four years is to create value with data with the purpose of creating an impact and making a difference in organizations, society and our lives, closely aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals.We are the school we build, and our motto will only be fulfilled if it’s the shared ambition of the whole community – students, professors and staff members. Aligned with that purpose we are launching our monthly newsletter today to give visibility to the highlights of NOVA IMS actions that challenge and inspire us to go further together.Let’s make a difference!!!

National application for access to higher education

The results of the national competition for access to higher education once again recorded new maximums in the final placement grades in the 1st phase in all the NOVA IMS' Undergraduate Programs, namely:

  • 17,40 for Information Management (2021-22: 17,03);
  • 16,88 for Data Science (2021-22: 16,06);
  • 16,78 for Information Systems (2021-22: 16,26).

One-quarter of the Students enrolled at NOVA IMS will receive the award for Academic Excellence since their application grade was equal to or higher than 18.

  • 81 Different nationalities
Undergraduate and Master's degree Programs were re-accredited by the A3ES Board image

Undergraduate and Master's degree Programs were re-accredited by the A3ES Board

The Undergraduate Programs in Information Management and in Information Systems, the Master's in Statistics and Information Management and in Information Management, and the Doctoral Program in Information Management, were re-accredited by the Board of Directors of A3ES, for a period of 6 years.
